በስደት ላይ የሚገኘውና በብፁዕ ወቅዱስ አቡነ መርቆሬዎስ ፓትርያርክ ርእሰ ሊቃነ ጳጳሳት ዘኢትዮጵያ የሚመራው ሕጋዊው የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ቅዱስ ሲኖዶስ 40ኛውን መደበኛ ስብሰባ ከጥቅምት 26-28 /2007 ዓ/ም በኮሎምበስ ኦሐዮ ደብረ መድኃኒት መድኃኔዓለም ካቴድራል አካሄዷል።
